Not at this time.

At this time, the school is not providing transportation. While charter schools like CAAT receive state funding, we do not receive funds for transportation like traditional districts.

Will the school provide meals?

Breakfast, lunch, and snack.

We will provide breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day at no cost to all students. You may send snacks or pack your child a lunch if you prefer. Lunch menus will be posted at the beginning of August.

We are a nut-free campus! Our health and wellness policy also prohibits students from bringing sodas and energy drinks to school

What does my child need for the first day of school?

Scholars need a backpack.

Every scholar needs a backpack that can fit a standard three-ring binder and their electronic devices. If you need assistance getting your child a backpack, please reach out and let us know.

We provide all of the tools and supplies your child needs to be successful at school.

What are the school hours?

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Mon - Fri

Do I need to contact my child’s current school?

We can do that for you.

Our team will request your child’s records from their current school. You do not need to take any action to withdraw your child from your current school. As a courtesy, you may want to let your current school know that your child will not be attending next year, especially if your child is attending a private school.

What is the school’s dress code?

We have a school uniform.

School uniform polos are now available to be purchased. The school uniform consists of a school polo shirt and black or khaki pants, shorts, or skirts. No black denim or cargo pants/shorts are allowed. Black or white shoes that are appropriate for physical activity should be worn. There will be other options for school attire throughout the year.

Some dance classes will require students to wear appropriate attire and shoes. We will discuss your child’s schedule and provide information about any additional attire required at your welcome meeting. If you need financial assistance with uniform purchases, please contact us.

Can my child have their cell phone at school?

Yes, but with limited use.

Yes. Students must keep their cell phones in their backpacks unless they have permission to use their phone for the purpose of learning, which may occur in special classes or instances. Please note that the school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken cell phones.

When are school breaks?

Caat school calendar is linked below.

The school opens at 7:00 AM for student drop off. Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 AM. Students are dismissed for pick up at 3:30 PM. We offer a free after school program from 4:00 PM to

6:00 PM. Office staff is available 8AM - 4PM to assist families.

Technology

As a technology academy, much of your scholar’s school work will be digital. Each child is assigned a device that can be taken home. However, if you prefer for your child to leave their device at school, you will need to provide access to one at home. Scholars will also be able to bring their own devices from home. We will discuss this policy at Mutual Promise.

Access to the internet at home is not required, but is highly encouraged. If your family does not have internet access, please reach out so we can provide you with information on programs that can provide assistance.

Fitness Class

The Arts

The seven classical arts.

We will nurture your child's creativity through the arts. We offer a range of arts electives, including dance, music, painting, and more, allowing each student to explore their passions and interests.

We encourage parents to engage in conversations with their child about these opportunities, helping them select electives that align with their unique talents and aspirations. Our arts program develop students confidence, self-expression, and a deeper appreciation for the arts.
